Outdoor Education Facility Rentals
In keeping with our Lease Purpose, our facility can only be rented for conservation and outdoor education training purposes; to be used primarily for AWF members and secondarily for other groups for training and/or educating people interested in outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, camping, conservation, survival, and environmental concerns. Our site is also a safe certified location for the training and use of firearms on the Certified Range(s).
To accommodate your outdoor program, NLCC main site offers the following:
- Kitchen – fridge/freezer, stove, convection oven, sink, cooking utensils and materials NO PETS
- Zayac Center – large hall with tables, chairs, and a projector screen
- Washrooms – both men and women sides have 3 stalls with toilet and shower
- Barrier Free Washroom – toilet and shower
- Cabins – all lodging cabins have 2 bunk beds (4 beds with single mattresses). Cabins 2-8 are pet friendly. Cabins 9 and 10 NO PETS
- Shotgun Range – trap house with 5 stations
- Big Bore Range – 50 yard and 100 yard backstops. Range hood with shooting benches
- Small Bore Range – 50 yard shooting range for small caliber firearms
- Archery Range – multiple targets and shooting positions
- 4 Outhouses on Site
- Bottom Classroom – lecture room with tables, chairs and projector screen
- Waterfront – Aluminum dock in place during summer months (subject to weather)
- Kayaks, Canoes, Lifejackets and Paddles may be available
Survival Site
Located approximately 1.5 km south of the main site provides a backcountry camping area with 1 outhouse and multiple fire pits. Rental of this site is dependent on fire restrictions.
Rental Information & Agreements
Specific buildings are not available after the site has been winterized.
Proof of Use and Proof of Insurance will be required as part of the rental application process. Applications are reviewed by our Committee before approving.
